CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION
The Engineerium's Conservation and Restoration workshop employs a permanent staff of expert technicians who have built an international reputation for the quality of their work on mechanical artefacts.
In the Engineerium workshops (shown above) conservation and restoration work is carried out on engineering heritage artifacts of all kinds for national and international clients - from windmills and watermills to jet engines and steam engines.
Please look at examples of our work and contact us for further information.Since 1974, the Engineerium has provided a consultancy service by our expert staff. This includes advice and help in the conservation and restoration of artefacts, technology museum design and development, and historical research on our engineering and technology heritage. The service is used by other museums, private clients, film companies, higher education establishments and exhibition designers.
